GUITAR LESSONS IN PERSON AND ONLINE!!!

Buying A Guitar

When you go to buy a guitar, don't let price be the deciding factor.  More expensive is not always better.

For acoustic guitars, nylon and steel strings, I like Yamaha.  They have been around for along time and have been very consistent.  They are great starter guitars and you don't have to worry about taking them camping and dinging them up a little.  When the time comes that you want a more expensive guitar, I suggest you go to a store with a wide variety and compare many different ones.  They all have their own personality and sound.

For electric guitars, check out the Fender Squire, Epiphone, and Ibanez brands.  You can get a fairly decent guitar in the $200 to $400 range.  As far as amps go, it's up to you.  They are all pretty much the same when it comes to modeling amps these days.  Play a bunch of different amps and pick the one you like.  You'll know it when you hear it.  :-)
